Chanel’s Spring-Summer 2021 Haute Couture Show

The beautiful collection was imagined by Virginie Viard and the collection was filmed by the photographer, filmmaker and graphic designer Anton Corbijn.

Seen at the Haute Couture Show was star-actress Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Charlotte Casiraghi, the mother-daughter duo Vanessa Paradis and Lily Rose Depp, actor Alma Jodorowsky, musician Izia, Joanna Preiss, Rebecca Longendyke, and more.

Models presenting the collection walked out of a tent towards the round stage that was rimmed with floral arches surrounded by chairs and lights strung up all over the stage. The arena representing a village wedding. Scenario of the show was focused on the guests arriving at the wedding and being seated after walking the ramp. The showstopper outfit was that of the bride (obviously), who made her entrance on a horse and graciously gets off and walks the circular ramp to showcase the wedding dress.

Couture highlights of the show were: the multi – layer gathered skirts adding the flair to the wearer’s stride; the powder blue buttoned-up shirt dress; the princess look sky blue strap bodice dress with three sixty degree three-flare skirt; the red toned printed, ruffled neckline shirt with white trousers glittering on the side seams; the black strap dress with cris-cross silver embellishments.
